My first visit to Disneyland

My family and I participated in our very first CHOC Walk on Sunday, October 19th. Our team name was Air Jordan, in honor of me! Wow! I felt so special! We were happy to have our wonderful friends and family join us for the event as we strolled through Disneyland & California Adventure. With the help of our awesome team members and sponsors, we raised $2538 for the event! Thank you all for your support!

We walked to celebrate my long 159-day hospitalization and how far along I've come since my NICU days. We also participated in support of CHOC's ongoing mission to help children and also to honor the dedicated staff of the hospital, especially those in the NICU department. I am forever grateful for all that they have done for me. I am alive and well thanks to the efforts of all the dedicated NICU doctors, nurses & staff. A special THANK YOU goes out to my associate nurses -- Lisa E., Lisa N., Deb S., & Briana -- who cared for me as if I was their own son.

Mommy and daddy said that we are going to do this event EVERY year...so hopefully you can join us in the future and help support CHOC's mission and to celebrate my ongoing accomplishments!
