It's starting to get really hot nowadays so you can see me crawling around in just a onesie and nothing else. Oh, well...my diaper too...but you know what I mean!
It's been almost a month since my 1st birthday and so much has happened since then. Like...my teeth. My 5th tooth is coming through now....yes FIVE! Isn't that crazy?! And guess what else? I'm still breastfeeding!!! But no worries. I don't bite. Well, not that much. When mommy says OUCH and tells me to stop, I stop. I'm such a good boy, aren't I? It's not that I want to hurt mommy or anything. My gums itch so badly because my teeth are trying to rip through...so I need something to teethe on! Can you imagine how uncomfortable that is for me??? Yikes! Mommy is doing such a great job keeping her milk supply! I remember when I used to be in the NICU and mommy would have to pump and store all the milk in my special freezer. But now, there doesn't seem to be enough for this growing boy!! ^_^ I supplement it with my special formula and I eat some table foods and pureed veggies. One of my favorites is tofu!
I don't know how much I weigh now, but I'm going to my pediatrician this coming Friday to get my 6th and final synagis shot for this RSV season...so they will weigh me then. I'm glad that RSV season is almost over. The dosage of the synagis is determined by my weight...so ever since I got bigger, they've upped my dose and so they have to give it to me in TWO syringes...one in each thigh! =( It's horrible! But luckily, the synagis shots have helped me stay healthy so I shouldn't be complaining.
I'm also walking....but not by myself. =) I love standing and walking around with my walker or with the support of my family. I walk along my crib too...like a little monkey! I just can't stay still! I'm always on the move! I still work with my physical therapist, who comes to my house every week...and she tells me that I'm doing pretty good for being at 9 months adjusted age. Hard to believe that I was a 24-weeker preemie!
The first day of spring is this friday. I wonder if mommy and daddy are going to take me on an Easter Egg Hunt this year...???? ^_^
At 9-months adjusted age, I:
-weigh over 20lbs
-crawl where I want to go
-can pull myself up to standing
-walk with support from someone or a walker
-am working on my pincer grasp
-eat pureed veggies, fruits and some table foods
-love tofu
-babble A LOT
-have my 5th tooth coming through
-breastfeed w/formula supplement
-love taking baths

Nine months adjusted and doing so much! You're on the move little brother! Soon you'll be taller then your papa, mama, and uncles!
