I can't believe how fast time flies. Don't let my hairless head fool you! I'm currently 16 months old (and 12 months corrected gestational age) and a lot has happened. At this point, I:
-eat solids and am starting to like what mommy & daddy eat off their plates
-am transitioning to drinking whole milk, but still taking Elecare formula and breastfeeding
-can easily pull myself up to standing
-can stand in place and balance myself without support
-can take up to 7 INDEPENDENT steps! woohoo...(I'm walking people!!!)
-can crawl/climb up & down the stairs by myself
-can crawl/climb up & down the stairs by myself
-know how to stop doing something when mommy & daddy say "NO" or "STOP"
-voluntarily get mommy's attention by saying "mama"
-love going outside
-love practicing my dunks and playing with my other toys
-have 8 teeth and had my first appointment with my pediatric dentist
-weigh 22lbs and measure about 30 inches in height
Mommy, daddy and my grandparents are all very excited that I will be walking on my own soon! 7 steps now...but give me a few weeks, and I'll be all over the place!! Let's play!!!
